Terms & Conditions – Personal Conversation Partner

This document outlines the terms and conditions governing the personal engagement between the Employer (Host) and the selected Individual (Conversation Partner).

By applying and accepting this role, you agree to abide by these terms.

1. Nature of Engagement

  • This is a part-time, personal engagement and NOT a full-time employment.
  • You will not be considered an employee under the labour laws of India.
  • No statutory benefits such as PF, ESI, gratuity, leave, or any other employment perks will be provided.
  • The only compensation is the fixed amount of ₹50,000 per month. No other allowances or reimbursements apply.

2. Scope of Work & Attendance

  • You are required to engage in conversation with the Employer for exactly 1 hour every day.
  • Attendance at the mutually decided time slot is mandatory.
  • Once the daily time is finalized, only the Employer has the right to change it.
  • The Conversation Partner may accept or reject any changed time. However, skipping sessions, repeated late arrivals, or unilateral changes by the Partner will be grounds for immediate termination.

3. Compensation

  • Fixed monthly payment: ₹50,000 (Rupees Fifty Thousand only).
  • Payment will be made on or before the 5th of every month via bank transfer, subject to satisfactory performance.
  • No pro-rated payment will be made if you resign or are terminated before completion of the calendar month.

4. Termination & Exit

  • Either party may terminate this engagement at any time without any notice period.
  • The Employer reserves the right to discontinue the service immediately if the Partner:
    • Fails to attend the scheduled session
    • Is repeatedly late
    • Misbehaves, uses abusive language, or makes the Employer uncomfortable
    • Breaches confidentiality or privacy
  • If you wish to quit before the end of the month, you will not be entitled to any payment for the partial month.

5. Code of Conduct

  • Maintain professionalism, respect, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Do not record audio/video of conversations without explicit permission.
  • Respect the Employer’s personal boundaries.

6. General Legal Provisions

  • This engagement is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi only.
  • The Employer shall not be liable for any claims, damages, or legal actions arising out of this personal engagement.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold the Employer harmless from any loss, liability, or expense resulting from your actions or negligence.
  • This is a private, personal arrangement between two individuals. No employer-employee relationship is created under any labour legislation.
  • The Employer reserves the right to modify these terms with prior intimation.

DISCLAIMER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

This is a purely personal and informal arrangement. The Employer is not a registered company or establishment under labour laws.

By accepting this role, you explicitly agree that you shall not raise any claim, complaint, or legal proceeding against the Employer in any labour court, civil court, or any other forum regarding employment benefits, unfair termination, or any other matter.

You enter into this engagement at your own will and risk.
